THE STORY BEHIND THE STORIES
Created from our own family’s experience
When our twin daughters were young, Shane and I wanted to explain their beginnings through donor-egg IVF in a way that felt honest, loving and easy for a child to understand.
I looked for a story that reflected our family, but struggled to find one that expressed what I wanted our daughters to know: that they were deeply wanted, deeply loved and always part of our hopes for the future.
That need inspired the first Paths to Parenthood story. The collection has since grown to represent many different beginnings, helping more families find language for conversations that can otherwise feel difficult to start.
Every family deserves to see its story represented with love.
